The UGS discussed amendments made by the GSC to last week’s ASSU nominations modification bill, approved funding recommendations and proposed that it advocate for OCS reform.
Speakers gave personal reflections at the rally on the second anniversary of the Hamas attacks. Organizers used the rally as an opportunity for community members to hear new perspectives, something many thought was especially important in light of the “All Eyes on Gaza” vigil held on the same day.
Students for Justice in Palestine, along with other student groups, held a vigil on Tuesday to honor the lives lost in Palestine. The vigil included speakers, poetry and prayer in White Plaza.
